Please Come if you can, and if not, we will try to have video highlights on youtube after the show. Updates

Congratulations to Corbin... His new EP is the hottest thing of ours on bandcamp! Man I need to start posting craig's list adds too...

Also something may or may not be happening 03/27/2012 in regards to Teflon Beast.... Maybe you all will get to join the super secret grapevine high school club!

Uh... Broderick is writing more songs. Lauren is getting ready for a show in January. Corbin is preparing for that and trying to get stuff in Denton going.

Jupiter House Highlights

For our first live show in Denton things went pretty well. Jill Bates, the "dark horse" opener for the band performed exceptionally for it being her first live performance. Lauren and the band rocked some faces off, though it felt a little out of place for the venue (oh well!). Great show with photography by Jon Huey and Jill on video. The band is gearing up for another Denton show hopefully in September. If you didn't make it to that one, I ask you to consider making it to the next one.

Opener Jill Bates: setting the mood and being awesome.

The Band: (Left to Right) Paige Thompson, Corbin Young, Eric Saffle, and Lauren

Band Camp!

Divshare sucks so we are switching to bandcamp. This means everybody will have an easy way of downloading stuff. A couple of eccentricities:
--Everything is pay what you want. While we do not expect you to pay, we do have a maximum of 200 free downloads of anything per month.
--For each free download we require an email address. This is to prevent robots from taking up all the downloads. Also it would be nice to hear from you!
--If you decide to pay though, we humbly request that you pay enough to avoid us from going into debt! What I mean is that paypal has a transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30) and bandcamp takes 10% so something that is at or above those two would be great!
--I will be going through the entire back catalog to get it up there. It takes a lot of time because I have to convert the MP3s to WAVs then upload them two at a time. WE HAVE A LOT OF SONGS. So it will take a while (i.e. this weekend has just been shot). If you have to have your favorite ASAP, please feel free to email and I will do it first.
--Its going to be ugly. I will also try to take some time to spruce it up but we'll see.
--We may or may not feel comfortable with covers on the album so those might get removed. EDIT: OK since bandcamp is nice enough to sell stuff for us, we've decided to follow their rules and not post covers. Albums that do have covers will be posted on bandcamp without the cover, but the blog will have a link to a zip with the cover in it.

Hopefully these changes are for the better for us and for you.

Lauren Moseley Show highlights

opener Julia Greuner (sitar)

the band (in front Corbin Lauren and Will, in back Paige and Eric)

The Show at Play Pause Replay was a Success, at least in my opinion. Julia Greuner opened for Lauren with Sitar fury and the closers were a variety of people ranging from Corbin and Broderick Young as well as some random guy in the audience joined in for a menagerie of covers from guided by voices, Beck, and also original work from Broderick's up and coming solo album. the set list for the show was
1.Evolve
2.Kissingerology
3. Double Nickels
4. Hold On
5. Bobby Fischer
6. Honey, Please
7. Oklahoma
8. Hometown
9. A life in Vain
10. Jailbait
11. Thought I Saw
12. Hell
14. Devils in the Snow
15. Wet Dreams
16. Postcards
17. Nausea
18. Home
Proposed songs for Corbin's closing section
Little Whirl (GBV)
The Wagon (Dinosaur Jr)
Game of Pricks (GBV)
Magic Alarm Clock (original)

Thanks to all who came and all who bought CDs.
